My FD summed up our life perfectly. She said, “Look, Giles and Nick, I’ve got the three-times rule for both of you two.” And I went, “What’s the three-times rule?” And she went, “Well, everything you do takes three times longer, it’s three times more effort than you ever think it’s going to be, and it costs three times more.” And I think you don’t enter into entrepreneurship—or anything—if you aren’t happy with the three-times rule, because you give up too early.
